Reproductive health department is one of the department under Institution of Public Health. The department started the post graduate program Master of Public Health (MPH) in Reproductive Health specialty in 2008GC. Since 2014, the nomenclature of the postgraduate program is revised as MPH in “Reproductive and Child Health” specialty. Currently the department have fifteens academic staffs; seven Assistant Professors, of which three are PhD older, and seven lecturers. Currently the department have been contributing to achieve the goal of university of Gondar and nation through generating educated human power, conducting different problem solving researches on different area particularly in Reproductive Health (maternal health, child health, adolescent sexual and reproductive health and intervening community health problems.
