Admission requirements for MPH Human Nutrition
- Applicants should have at least first degree in Health Sciences and Medicine from a known accredited university or health institution.
- The course is also open to a related field that demonstrates a strong contribution to health programmes which include those holders of at least first degree in fields such as Food science and postharvest technology Human Nutrition, Sociology, Anthropology, Population study and Demography, Psychology and other behavioral, social.
- The medium of instruction is English; applicants whose medium of instruction at secondary and/or higher education was not English will be required to produce a certificate of proficiency in English language or (IELTs total 5).
- A minimum of two letters of recommendation from relevant employers and academic supervisors and minimum of one page letter of motivation to attend the programme;
- Full sponsorship, leave of absence and assurance letter from employing party is needed; except self-sponsors.
- Candidates who pass the preliminary screening for the above criteria can be invited for an entrance examination.
- Candidates must pass the written examinations that are prepared to assess the individual’s competences and preparedness to pursue a graduate program.
- Once they fulfill the requirements and are admitted to the program, entrants can make arrangements to plan their studies with their academic advisor, according to their needs and working conditions.
